What we collect, and what we don't.

The short version: TCG Playbook has no accounts and no sign-up forms. Like every website, our host receives basic technical data (such as your IP address) when you load a page. We use Impact, the affiliate network that runs our retailer partnerships, to track affiliate link clicks and page views; it uses cookies and similar technologies to do that. A few other third-party services (fonts and card images) receive data from your browser too. We do not sell your personal information.
TCG Playbook (tcgplaybook.com) is operated by Smith & Floyd LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("we," "us"). Questions about this policy: hello@tcgplaybook.com.
When you visit the site, our hosting and security provider, Cloudflare, processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the site: IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request. We use this only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site. We do not use it to build profiles of individual visitors.
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever is in your message. We use it to reply and keep it only as long as needed for that purpose.
We do not offer accounts, comments, newsletters, or purchases on this site, and we do not knowingly collect names, addresses, payment information, or other sensitive information through it.
Pages on this site load a tracking script from Impact (impact.com), the affiliate network we use for retailer partnerships such as TCGPlayer. The script records page views and converts card links into tracked affiliate links. When you click one, Impact and the retailer use cookies, identifiers, and similar technologies to attribute any resulting purchase to TCG Playbook so we can be paid a commission. Impact handles this data under its own privacy policy at impact.com/privacy-policy. Cloudflare may also set strictly necessary security cookies to protect the site from abuse. We do not run display advertising. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, but we may not receive credit for purchases you make.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy policy. We do not control those practices.
We do not sell personal information for money. Our affiliate network, Impact, collects data on this site through cookies to attribute purchases. Under some state privacy laws (such as California's), that kind of third-party tracking may be treated as "sharing" or a "sale." To opt out, email hello@tcgplaybook.com, block third-party cookies in your browser, or turn on Global Privacy Control. We do not use Impact's data for targeted advertising. Nevada residents: we do not sell covered information as defined in NRS 603A, and you may send an opt-out request to the same address.
We disclose information only to the service providers listed above as needed to run the site, when required by law or valid legal process, to protect the rights, safety, or property of TCG Playbook, our users, or others, or in connection with a merger, sale, or transfer of the site.
We do not ourselves track visitors across other websites. Our affiliate network (Impact) and the retailers you click through to may collect information about your online activities over time and across different websites. Our site does not currently change its behavior in response to Do Not Track signals. You can limit this tracking by blocking third-party cookies. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, our pages do not load the Impact tracking script, and we treat the signal as an opt-out of any sale or sharing.
Server and security logs are kept by Cloudflare for limited periods under its own retention practices. Emails are kept only as long as needed to respond and for reasonable record-keeping.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Since we collect very little, in most cases the only personal information we have is an email you sent us. To make a request, email hello@tcgplaybook.com. We may need to verify your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
TCG Playbook is a general-audience site about competitive card games. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We use reasonable measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
The site is operated from the United States, and information is processed in the United States and wherever our providers operate. By using the site you understand your information will be processed there.
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
