Please read these terms. They include a binding arbitration agreement and a class-action waiver (Section 11), which affect how disputes are resolved.
These Terms of Use govern your use of tcgplaybook.com (the "Site"), operated by Smith & Floyd LLC, a Nevada limited liability company ("we," "us"). By using the Site you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
TCG Playbook publishes strategy guides, decklists, and meta snapshots for trading card games. The content is for entertainment and informational purposes. Guides are compiled from public tournament results using automated tools and may contain errors or become outdated quickly as formats, banned lists, and card prices change.
We do not guarantee tournament results, deck performance, the accuracy of rulings, the legality of any card or deck in any format, or the accuracy of any price. Card prices are estimates from market data at the time of publication and change constantly. Always check current format rules and prices before you buy cards or register a deck. See our Disclaimer.
You may view the Site and share links to it for personal, non-commercial use. You may not:
The Site's original text, analysis, design, and code are owned by us and protected by copyright and other laws. Game names, card names, card images, and related marks belong to their respective owners, including Wizards of the Coast, Konami, The Pokémon Company, Ravensburger, Bandai, Legend Story Studios, and Fantasy Flight Games. They are used for identification, commentary, and analysis. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them. Tournament decklists and results are factual information drawn from public sources, which we credit where available.

Your notice must include: (a) your physical or electronic signature; (b) identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed; (c) identification of the material you claim is infringing and its URL on the Site; (d) your name, address, telephone number, and email address; (e) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and (f) a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf. Notices that do not include these elements may not be acted on. We will review valid notices and remove or disable access to material where appropriate.
The Site links to third-party retailers and websites, and some links are affiliate links (see our Affiliate Disclosure). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites, products, prices, availability, shipping, or customer service. Purchases you make on a third-party site are solely between you and that retailer.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF MONEY, CARDS, PRIZES, PROFITS, OR DATA, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SITE OR ITS CONTENT, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US$100). SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS, SO SOME OF THESE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these Terms.
Informal resolution first. Before filing a claim, you agree to email hello@tcgplaybook.com with a description of the dispute and to try to resolve it informally for at least 30 days.
Arbitration. Any dispute arising from or relating to the Site or these Terms that is not resolved informally will be resolved by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, before a single arbitrator. The arbitration will take place in Clark County, Nevada, or remotely by video or written submissions where the rules allow. Judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction.
Small-claims exception. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small-claims court in Clark County, Nevada, if the claim qualifies.
Class-action waiver. Disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis. You and we waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action or arbitration.
Time limit. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it arises, or it is permanently barred, to the extent permitted by law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and by the Federal Arbitration Act. For any matter not subject to arbitration, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time, and may update these Terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date. Continued use after a change means you accept it. We may restrict access to anyone who violates these Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and Affiliate Disclosure, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site. You may not assign these Terms; we may.
